The four spacious double guest cabins are all equiped with fans, private A/C controls, and en-suite heads. Adeia's new crew is husband and wife team Leon and Michelle Heyns. They come to Adeia with three years of experience and over 100 charters under their belts. Leon hails from Cape Town, South Africa where he served in the South African Navy for 15 years and completed the Cape Town to Rio transatlantic sailing competition. Leon holds the RYA Yacht Master qualification. Michelle grew up around the water, first the northern Wisconsin and then around the creeks and beaches of South Carolina. After a 10-year career as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Michelle turned her passion for sailing and the culinary arts into a career as a charter chef. She combines native Caribbean cuisine with a Southern flair.
